Jacked

  

Jacked was a game that came out of the 2013 Global Game Jam. It was completed over the course of 2 days with a couple of friends in Unity. The theme of the game jam was 'Heartbeats', which inspired the main mechanic of controlling your heart rate.

The player must manage their heart rate while defending against waves of fuzzy animals. Whenever the player takes damage, their heart rate goes down. As this happens, time and movement speed slows down and the player risks dying. Jacked was a lot of fun to make, and I would like to revist the idea sometime in the future.
